What is the difference between the alcohol and the oil perfume bases?

The oil base is best for those with drier skin or who feel fragrance evaporates rapidly from their skin. It is more moisturizing and must be lightly rubbed in for absorption. The alcohol base sprays a finer mist and disperses the scent wider. Since it is a lighter mist, it also offers you the ability to use it as a room air freshener, a linen spray, or to scent your hair. The alcohol base is dry instantly on the skin. As far as lasting, everybody's skin chemistry is different, but the oil base is more often lauded for its lasting ability.

I'm an International customer, what products may I order?

You are welcome to any Starring product that does not conatin alcohol. It is unlawful to send alcohol out of the country, so for our perfumes please select the Organic Oil base for your orders. Any international customer who order perfumes in the alcohol base will have them automatically switched to oil base.

What types of fragrance do you use? Is it all natural?

We use a combination of synthetic fragrance oils, phthalate free fragrance oils, absolutes, and essential oils. Our customers (and us) really love the sweet gourmand and complex fragrances you sometimes just can't get with all natural essential oils, so we do use synthetic fragrance oils in some of our blends. Our feeling is, fragrances only accounts for a small percent of the product, the base makes up the most active part. We use all natural and organic bases with no parabens to carry the fragrances. Please see our "All natural" fragrance section for our perfumes and scents free of any synthetics.

How long will processing be before my order ships? And how long will shipping take?

Check our homepage for information on current turnaround time. We ship USPS priority mail within the US which typically takes 3-8 days for delivery. Overseas order can take significantly longer to arrive.

What are some other ways I can save?
